1983 Ferrari 308GTS Quattro

If you are looking for what is probably the nicest 308GTS available today. please continue to read this ad. This car has always lived it's life in a climate controlled garage & has never seen inclement weather. It currently has 24. 81 original miles on it (829 miles per year). I just had the major service done (belt. etc. ) on the car with less than 100 miles since (within the last few months). Everything works on the car just as when it left the factory. including ice cold A/C. Original paint in excellent condition. The person that I purchased it from was the most particular person that I had ever met. He kept not one. but two seat covers on. along with two sets of floor mats. and a car cover although it was stored in a climate controlled garage. All are included with the car. Naturally. the car comes with a clean Carfax. Although the smog pump was removed at some point. I do have it stored in a box and is included should you wish to reinstall it or just store it as I did. I have been a car guy all of my life & currently own several collector cars that I am interested in selling with the intent of reducing my collection to a reasonable level. I welcome any professional inspections of the car. The owners manual. tool kit & jack equipment in the factory bag also comes with the car.

I have had a number of questions on the service. particularly the belt. I took the car in to a local Exotic car repair facility July/ 2012. It is the same place the previous owner used as well. They gave the car a complete service including ALL belts. timing. A/C & alternator. The only other problem that they found was the turn signal switch ( which also controls the headlight doors) was touchy in that if you moved it a certain way. the headlight doors would open. so I had that repaired as well. I have reciepts totaling just about $4000 for the work that was completed. The car has been driven less than 100 miles since. Also. I have had questions regarding the interior as I did not remove the seat covers completely when I took the pics. The interior has NO issues. It's just a pain to remove the covers as they are attached with elastic bands that I didn't want to disturb.
