1965 Pontiac GTO Resto Mod Frame-Off Restoration Up for sale is a gorgeous 1965 GTO that has undergone a complete restoration.This GTO is arguably one of the nicest Resto Mod examples on the market today. This GTO boasts stunning red paint, black interior, an aluminum headed fuel injected 400 cubic inch motor estimated at 425-450 hp, Tremec 5 speed manual transmission, Vintage Air Conditioning, QA 1 coilover suspension and brand new Year One 17" Rally wheels. During the restoration every part of this car was refurbished or replaced. Since then it has been an open road performer that participated in the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour logging over 1500 miles in just 7 days. This car is beautiful enough to be right at home inside any car show or out on a long road trip purring along in 5 th gear at 2000 RPM with the ice cold ac blowing. Everything on this car works as it should, all gauges, interior and exterior lights, horn, wipers, locks etc... Please look at the market and I'm confident you won't find another GTO this nice for close to this price. If you want a numbers matching untouched all original car, then this is not the one for you. This car has been highly modified and greatly improved with modern technology. This car is absolutely stunning, drives extremely well, sounds incredible and goes straight as an arrow. It needs nothing other than a new home. Below is a complete list of all the modifications that were performed during the transformation. Thanks for looking!Body: 100% rust free GTO that had a full frame off restoration in 2014. The frame was blasted and painted and all new body bushings and hardware were replaced. All the exterior panels appear to be original while the floor pans and trunk pan were replaced with correct reproduction panels. All glass, chrome, stainless and weatherstripping are in near perfect condition. It has a beautiful paint job that was resprayed in Montero Red. The underside of the car is extremely clean and completely rust free.Interior: Perfect condition. All brand new, front to back, top to bottom. Black interior with bucket seats and a TMI center console, new headliner, carpet and door panels. Modern period correct looking gauges that show actual mileage since restoration. Vintage Air a/c and heater, tilt column, and a period correct looking modern stereo system with bluetooth capability.Engine: Fully rebuilt Pontiac 400 cubic inch motor using ARP hardware, Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, performance street cam, Fi Tech fuel injection, Pontiac Ram Air exhaust manifolds, Flow Master dual exhaust, mini high torque starter, power steering, extra large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and it even has aftermarket cruise control with the controls hidden inside the ash tray.Transmission and Rear: Tremec 5 speed manual, Hydraulic clutch, Hurst Shifter, fully rebuilt 3.73 positraction rear differential with aluminum cover. With this combination the car cruises and 70 mph at 2200 RPMSuspension: Power drilled and slotted disk brakes, recently installed QA 1 coilovers on all four corners with 18 way adjustable shocks and large front and rear sway bars.Wheels and Tires: Brand new Year One 17 x 8 Rally II aluminum wheels with 245/45/17 front and 255/45/17 rear Nitto G 2 tires.*Suspension, wheels and tires were recently installed and only have about 300 miles on them.
