Please understand I am not trying to be rude but I'm tired of people bidding and winning the auction and backing out of the deal serious bidders only Up for auction is this 1968 Mercury Cougar XR 7 with era correct engine and transmission. Exterior is in good shape and very solid. It has an older repaint but it still looks good. All the body lines and contours are sharp and matches up nicely all body panels appear to be original. The trim and glass are in good shape for its age. There are some minor scratches and some bubble rust that can be seen in photos. floorboards frame rails and trunk pan are solid striaght and rust free, The vinyl top is fair. The interior is clean and looks great. It feels like a time capsule. The interior lights and gauges do work. This XR 7 does turn over and start - it goes into gear, everything sounds and feels good but it has been sitting for a little over one year or so. It's going to need a good tune up, fluids changed and brakes gone through before getting the car back safely on the road. The headlight covers work when they want to ac blows but is not cold, This XR 7 is not a trophy winner but I would consider this a solid car with tons of potential. Get it roadworthy and it will be a great weekend cruiser! Clear title please read terms and conditions of auction listed above before bidding call for more info
