**PLEASE READ***

Hi, I am testing the appetite (no food offered with this sale) for my self built kit car affectionately known as "ghost" (more like casper). This is my second complete build (my first one was shite..just kidding..no i'm not) but I have been involved with kit car project design for 10 years and lended my design skills to a few kit car builders (funny they have since blocked me..not sure why) whose finished builds have been sold here on ebay (portfolio plagiarised  from google available for viewing). I had originally intended to make this a track car (it was too much work) but changed my mind, the theme is MADMAX (on heroin) so has a gothic look. I have many videos of the car on motorway cruises I can send plus the car now has a rear aggressive racing spoiler (meh, well)  which is not pictured I will add more pics of the interior this weekend.  I have added pictures of an ebay listing for the fibreglass kit only to serve as an example of what the kits are worth, my kit cost 6K plus shipping from the US( wouldnt do it again, order from the US i mean).  I also have 3 other projects on the go (errr yeah, going) that take precedence (that need more cash) to this so I am willing to let this go at cost.

I am not new to kit car builds and I am well aware that its a time consuming and costly (very, emotional too, plus frustration and tantrums galore) hobby. I have around 11k invested in (the wife wants a diviorce) this but accept that there is no return on investment with these projects and I know its basically a Madza MX-5 "dressed up" blah blah blah. The value of kit cars is subjective, what is it worth to you?!! I have had this car valued by kit car "experts" (pause) who have given me a 8k-9k in its current state and upwards of 10k if it was in showroom condition(wasted money on those guys). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not contact me to debate what  you think it is worth!! (come round instead and we can trade insults in real time) thanks

I won't bore you with a comprehensive list of customisation and parts used (oh yess I will!! thats the best part) but happy to discuss this (some more)with serious buyers by ebay message or when you come to view but here are the good bits:

ONE-OFF DESIGN - variation of the F 250GT kit but this is the only one with the non hatch-back rear(as far as I know)

 INTERIOR

Mad max style interior with spikes in door cards, mint red and black leather seatsSkull gear knobRemovable racing steering wheel (great for access if you are plumpy cuddly)Skull decallsFire Extingusher(the wife recommended I get one?!)Bespoke diamond pattern  trim on doorcards, glovebox and instrument cluster dome (did it myself, was fed up with costs by this stage)Sound System with 600watt amp, subwoofer and premium speakers (disconnected as I'm partially deaf now. No joke)Carbon fibre on dashboard fascia and handbrake leverElectric windows

 DONOR CAR

2000 Reg  1840cc engine (non turbo, non A/C, so what?) with induction kit and performance modification microchipFull service history and bills for all work carried out93 000 kilometers on the odometer2 Keys available (actually a bunch of keys..forgot what the others are for, could be keys for my other kit cars? I dont remember)E5 Petrol only, not E10 compatible (spoke to Boris, E5 will not run out, you're ok)Not ULEZ compliant ( park up and ride a bike when in london, optional)

EXTERIOR

Custom built quad exhaustCustom front L.E.D fog lights & indicatorsCustom brake lights & L.E.D'sPrivate registration number plateCustom-made deep dish chrome alloy wheels with candy red paintCustom smoked headlightsCustom adjustable rear spoilerCustom bottom rear fin Custom rear skull fog lightCustom hood scoopCustom hood grafitti (I was too lazy to prep and paint plus wife was fed up with the noise from the sander..but people always comment that they love it so i kept it!)

ADVISORY (to complete the build if you so choose)

Body is painted in matte black primer which hides very minor imperfections, it would require further sanding and  minor body work to be fit for professional paint job.  It can be wrapped though...I have been quoted £980Both windows are lazy but roll down fully (needs some spit or maybe grease in window mechanism) but they work okMotorcycle style mirrors are a great look (but barely functional) you can see out of them but would benefit from bigger mirrors or re-positioned mirrorsThe donor car was originally a convertable (no, not a vegetable) , I have bonded a hard-top to act as a permanent roof but the place were the roof and the car meets is prone to small cracks but is fully secure. Might benefit with more fibreglass at that meet-point or flexi-plasterThe candy red paint on the wheels is prone to peeling especially in this rainy season, I have a touch-up spray paint which will come with the car but could do with a few more layers and a good paint hardener to be perfect.Custom smoked headlights could be improved ( a bit shite, no they are not...yes they are), it looks ok but I would remove the tint spray and use a tint film instead, it would look better

I have a folder with all work and parts used for the build and I have missed out a lot of detail otherwise we will be here all year!

 FINALLY

If you are new to kit cars please be advised ( insert condesending explanation here) that this design is inspired by another car, built on a donor car, it is basically mounted onto the chasis of the donor car, the only original Mazda MX-5 bits are the doors and internal infrastructer, unlike most in this kit range;  it is not pretending to be a well known supercar (I also have one of those hehehe) but can hold its own when parked next to some out there. I get loads of attention in this car, so be prepared to be stopped and asked "what is it?" and "oi, its only a f-in Madza mate" people wanting pictures all the time which can be tiring at best. I am 5ft 10, (yesssss, tall squad, well... average squad)  of muscular build (in the waist area) and fit quite comfortably in it......if you're over 6 foot (or the same height as a tree), I highly recomment that you come an view and sit in it (or buy a horse).

If you can't afford it (that was me 10 years ago, "it was all a dream") or if the style is not for you please kindly veto and look at something else.  I am under no rush to sell and happy to keep it as its a weekend summer driver.

Please no timewasters and idiots but jokers are welcome :) ( no they are not) I am not desperate to sell but will sell for the right offer (will sell anything I own for the right offer). The car is currently stored in Peterborough (much to me moms annoyance as its in her garage) for the winter and can be viewed there or in Luton.
