Hi here we have for sale this lovely Mk 2 Stag barn find project, finished in the classic colour of white with tan interior, original engine which has been totally rebuilt and also rebuilt automatic gearbox, this car was last on the road in 2006 when it had thousands of pounds spent on it, and then basically laid up and not moved since. Very original car with all its correct parts, body is very very solid, with no real rot anywhere, back arches need attention, and front lower valance is abit scabby. I have run the engine and it runs sweet, but there is a slight leak coming from the carbs hence the airbox is off but is with the car. Interior is in excellent condition including the carpet, no rips or tears or anything, also comes with factory hard top. Rear bumper is also in the boot and needs rechroming.

Regrind and nitride crank.
Homed bores and new piston rings. Service alloy heads with new unleaded value seats, new values, guides and springs. New chain, tensioner, guides, oil pump and gaskets. Opened out water jackets in block and fitted 12 blade water pump. Electronic ignition. Stainless steel exhaust system and manifolds. Rebuilt cards and new fuel pump. Recondition gearbox from rimmer brother. New carpets.
New shocks. To sum this car up, an amazing barn find project of one of these iconic cars which are now shooting up in value to where they deserve to be. Could even be used as a rolling restoration, really all it needs is paint work or is a very good base for a true concourse build, as all the expense has already been spent.
