VW Splitscreen Camper Van 1967 RHD

Wilma is our beautiful 1967 right hand drive split screen custom camper. nbsp;she puts a real smile on peoples faces but we are now selling due to undertaking a new adventure in life. She's been a pleasure to own and drive and is a real head and crowd turner and a great conversation piece. we'll miss her that's for sure!

We've had her for 8 years and she has been lovingly used. cared for. restored and maintained throughout that time. £3000 spent over the last year restoring the cargo doors. sills. outriggers and rear engine lid. She is in good clean condition both inside and out for her 46 years of age.

Recent independant valuation obtained of £30. 00 for insurance purposes

Bodywork and Exterior

Resprayed to a professional standard in quality two pack blue/yellow paintwork. all panels are clean and straight

Safari windows fitted front and rear with rear jailbars and three pop out side windows

Side step professionally fitted

Stainless steel front and rear roof racks

EMPI quick shift and EMPI alloys

Removable towbar with twin electrics fitted

The underside of the bus is in good condition and fully waxoiled

Right hand drive

1600cc twinport engine in good working order on bay front beam with fitted ball joints which give a much better ride than the original split beam

Engine bay in good clean and tidy condition  with automatic fire extinguisher fitted

Rev counter. oil pressure. nbsp;temperature and volt meter clasic style gauges fitted

Interior

Seats. door cards and headlining have been refurbished by Spirit of the 50's 

Seats retrimmed and piped in cream/blue with matching door cards. Good quality blue carpet fitted. New double lined curtains and cushions to compliment the interior

Gas hob with 2 burners and grill. folding table. original wooden interior fittings with under bench storage and separate storage cabinet/cubbyholes

Stereo with 6 CD changer. radio and amplifier fitted

Seating converts to a double bed with a child hammock/storage at the front

Rag top slide back roof

Split charger relay leisure battery

Fitted with front lap belts

Overall she is a very good example of this collectable RHD bus. I have all the receipts and photographs from the work I have had done and from previous owners
