call or text Bug is in excellent condition, but is not flawless! It is running and driving with no issues. Clutch feels good, shifts fine, won't pop out of gear, accelerates smoothly. Vinyl white headliner has holes in it, but I have a new headliner and padding kit included. One wiper arm will go up but needs help to come back down. Original radio is included, but not installed radio needs rebuilt. But, the car starts excellent, runs very well, minimal oil leaks (few drops on your garage floor after weeks of sitting) and the body is very straight with nice paint. The tires are fine, and the brakes work fine. Recently, (in last 3 months) replaced 2 sections of fuel line and installed a new battery. Car was originally sold in California, and spent a lot of its life in the Northwest. Was in storage unit for several years. (that's when the mice ate the headliner. there are NOT mice in it anymore, the interior was reupholstered and new carpet since then) Notable History: in 2010 was repainted and reupholstered in Montana. Ball Joints and steering damper were replaced at this time also. Brakes were rebuilt in 2010. Engine was rebuilt in 2010. Cylinders were replaced and cylinder heads were rebuilt now the displacement is technically 1600 cc. In 2013 brakes were adjusted, engine valves were adjusted, ignition points and spark plugs replaced, and fuel pump was replaced. In 2020 new points, plug wires, fuel gauge, fuel pump, oil change, new carburetor, timing adjustment, valve adjustment. receipts included. As you can see, it's had lots of work done. Sale includes the storage cover, some cool vw memoranda like the service booklet, owners manual, etc., and the new headliner. see my You Tube video with a walk around of the car, listen to the engine, and see it drive.
(copy and paste in google)odometer is functioning and reads 6635, but I don't know if that is actual or not. title is clean and in my name I can arrange for indoor storage for the winter if you want to pick it up in the spring of 2022. but I need to sell it this fall since I need the money. Thanks for looking, feel free to contact me with any questions!
