This is a 1942 Ford GPW (jeep) in working condition which was restored in the early 80s by a previous owner. It has been dry stored for the last 3 to 4 years since I took it off the road although it has been started and run about once every 6 or so months since then and has a new six volt battery fitted. Like all jeeps it is a real mix match. it is fitted with a later body and a Willys engine although there are many Ford marked parts on it as well. It comes with the usual pioneer tools and hoods as well as a full set of canvas and half doors (not shown as are in storage). As you can see from the pictures there is some rust present on the body & wings although I do have a new spare set of wings which are included in the price. The Jeep is fully UK road registered although it is currently declared SORN with no MOT (now MOT Exempt). It is currently in the markings of the U. S. 5th Army 34th Infantry with a Red Cross in the bonnet. However the position of the sidelights on the wings and a R. E. M. E plate on the front chassis member lead me to think that it has had a British Army History. If you wish to view please contact me on the email address shown to arrange a time as I am a shift worker & the Jeep is stored in a building that I can only access when the building owner is available (one of my reasons for selling). if sold I am unable to deliver. payment by cash or bankers draft or Building Society cheque.

Dear,

I am interested in your jeep… Could you send me some more pictures, please. Specially chassis number, and pictures from parts where I can see that it is original.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Albert C.
