California/Arizona car with no rust issues at all! The car is in excellent condition. I bought the car about 8 years ago in San Jose, CA and it had an engine knock. When considering to rebuild engine, I found a brand new short block from Studebaker factory stock still in its original wooden crate from the ‘50 s. All surfaces of engine were covered with protective coating. I Had heads rebuilt, carburetor, fuel pump, and generator all redone. Engine runs great! New radial white wall tires that only have about 10 miles on them. I added new steering wheel and new wiring harness. Only issues left to resolve is automatic transmission. I've had it totally rebuilt but needs to be adjusted and has mild transmission fluid leak. Does operate but needs adjustment. Paint and chrome in excellent condition! Actual mileage unknown.
