Up for auction today we have my 1976 Dodge M880 Pick-up Truck. Only selling due to a change in my personal circumstances (willing to discuss this with the winning bidder)The M880 is the Military Spec'd version of the W200 and as such its load capacity has been upgraded from ¾ ton to 1-1/4 ton. Its 4x4 with 3 on the tree, D44 front axle and a D60 rear axle with 4:10-1 gears in the rear diff. She will cruise quite happily at 70mph. The Engine is the tried and trusted Chrysler 318ci V8 (5.2l) This can easily be pepped up with a little work, or drop in a crate 360 for bags of power. This Truck was released from a US Forces base in the UK and restored to a high standard by a previous owner who I have since been in contact with and he has supplied me with plenty pictures of the restoration. This was a Body/Cab off resto and carried out by a true enthusiast in the early 90's. Since then its kept its condition rather will but as with all old Trucks and cars they need periodic attention. There is a few niggles that need looked at. Namely the Tailgate as its had a skim of filler in the past and has since cracked. Some of the gauges don't work and could do with being investigated, or some aftermarket gauges installed. The underside of the truck is in very good condition and the chassis rails are perfect. The Body is in very good condition as well. Under the Hood the Plugs, leads, ECU, Dizzy cap etc have all been replaced, real head turner and awesome truck !Happy to take walk-around videos, or videos and pics of truck if requested.
