1958 Original RHD Volkswagen Beetle 30hp semaphore for sale

RHD 1958 Volkswagen Beetle. Original matching chassis, body, axle, engine and original UK registration number car. Left the Wolfsburg factory in November 1958 spent most of its life in and around Kent with regular Switzerland trips. Was expertly restored in the mid 90's, magazine featured at that time. Pictures, magazines and features come with the car as does all the original paperwork and log book. The restoration 30 years ago still stands the test of time and was then dry barn stored until 2011 when it was recommissioned for use. I purchased the car in February 2014 where it undertook bright work refurbishment, a complete new period correct interior, unique
to the 58/59 cars and various mechanical fixes with new crossply tyres, brakes, shock absorbers etc all to keep it as
near to stock as possible. Everything works on the car. I rebuilt the original 30 hp engine with genuine parts in 2018 due to burnt exhaust valves. It has period correct electric windscreen washers, rare genuine dehne fuel guage and sender,
blaupunkt radio, windscreen demisters. Still running 6 volts the car has successfully tackled the Furka and Splugen Passes in the Swiss Alps with a euro trip to Northern Italy in 2015
the Scottish Highlands in 2016 and Spanish Pyrenees mountains in 2017 all without any issues. The car is finished in L 14 Reseda / Mignonette Green The car comes with some spares To save the questions the reserve is a very realistic £12500 Rare genuine honest car. The car is best viewed, it is not mint as it has been used though it has no rust/rot or damage. Any paint chips have been addressed though the colour matching is not practical with paint now 30 years old. Delivery possible for a fee. Will answer genuine questions, Car is based near Newmarket Suffolk.
