Beautiful 1953 Packard Clipper De Luxe Two Door Sedan.Read the whole story on my website Roys Vintage Cars dot c o m. I bought this as a backup to the Caribbean Convert that I had. I never drove the car very much. Drove a little did some photo shoots, etc. I had a 52 grille in it for a while. The original grille and bumpers are back on. All pics here are taken days ago. Website pics are older.The car was repainted and there is some overspray on rubber door seals. Hard to see, but there is small bondo in very low rear quarters. There is some rust bleeding from trim clips. Trim is very nice and complete. Small amount of rust on front bumper. Tiny rust spot on front of fender over the grille. A few rust 'dots' on pass door. (just discoloration, no dimples or pits). Pot metal door handles and wiper estucheons not great. Interior is gorgeous. Dash appears original paint, evidenced by the key instruction sticker. Gages are like new. Body paint very presentable, with a few chips and nicks here and there. roof paint is oxidized and should have repaint or clearcoat. The hubcaps rusted so I removed the fronts until I can find some new ones.Tires are older but good. Runs beautifully. Has a full-time fuel pump- noisy. I'd replace with a just-when-starting pump. Front stabilizer is wired to keep rubber bushings in place. They need to be replaced.Car is titled in Colorado in my name. I bought the car from Arizona. There is glovebox candy that includes the warranty folder with the business card of a Denver attorney who I believe was the original owner.

I sold my house in Colorado last December and shipped the car to storage in Northern NY. It is not registered or titled or driven in NY.
