I have owned and raced this car for 40+ years while owning XKs Unlimited, a leading Jaguar specialist firm. The car is built to the highest standards and only has two races on it since a full bare body rebuild. To much to list all the details but here are the basics: -3.8 liter motor bored and sleeved to 4 liters, forged racing pistons, Carillo rods, nitrided crank, competition damper, very trick high performance oiling system, big valve head, billet high lift cams, Vertex magneto ignition, and 48 mm DCOE Weber carbs-Ultra lightweight flywheel with Tilton triple disc clutch, aluminum 5 speed dog-clutch ultra close ratio gearbox.-4:11 diff with HD stub axles, LSD, and MAGNESIUM diff case for light weight.-Vented racing brakes all around with dual MCs and Tilton adjustable pedal assembley-Tricked out suspension with custom made aluminum Koni racing shocks. -Custom cooling system, runs cool in any weather.-Body has aluminum hood, aluminum doors, and aluminum FIA rear flares. DS floor pan and firewall have been modified for tall and large drivers-Custom built one of a kind racing exhaust.-All period correct SMITHS racing gauges including a chronometric tach-Full roll cage with removable side braces-Dunlop replica racing wheels.-Spares include 4 spare Dunlop style wheels, and a close ratio 5 speed all synchro gearbox (good for the street)-Car currently have four new street legal race tires, Hoosier Street TD-Includes two new stainless removable mufflers for the side exhaust.-Car has a clean California title and is even street registered and licensed!Use the car for vintage racing, show, or a wicked street car.!!Links below to hear it run and see it run, titled and licensed for the street.
