1948 Austin A 40 Devon, rust free small block Chevy powered street car .... has been a super fun car but time for a change . A 1975 Camaro Type LT gave up its complete previously rebuilt drivetrain , first of all a 4 bolt 350 with small Thumper cam - 194 heads w E 3 plugs - noisy gear drive - Edelbrock high rise - A brand new 600 Holley carb - Custom built fenderwell headers with dual exhaust and Quick Time electric cut outs - Aluminum radiator w polished overflow tank out front - Shifting is handled by a Turbo 350 with a mild shift kit and factory Camaro shifter - Rear end is a narrowed 8.5 with 3.73 posi & chrome cover , new axles w 3" ARP studs and old school ladder bars . Car has working lights - blinkers - Moon gauges - new wiring - aluminum fuel cell & gas gauge . .. even a dome light and am fm cd . . Old school paint and flames and vintage Simpson chute ( just for looks ) make it look authentic ... factory sunroof is very cool too ! The glass is good and covered in blue tint . Coming through the hood are vintage Hillborn stacks ceramic coated and polished , ( hence the name LETHAL INJECTION ) to complete the effect faux injection is seen looking up into engine bay over front tires . Interior was redone with carpet , tuck and roll and newer bucket seats - console and front seat belts. Under the front is a tube axle , polished cover on drag link and tie rod . Front wheels are 15 x 4.5 ET 10 spokes w newer tires ... out back are vintage 15 x 10 slots w Cooper 295 50 15 tires . Not sure how but I checked the mpg on the highway twice and got 19 both times ...WTH !!!
