Thanks for looking at my listing for our very loved Classic Mini.

We have owned the car for around three years. originally bought as a project. Since we have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds working on it. improving it and getting to be one of the best minis we have ever owned.

Its a mark 3. 1973. 998 cc with original engine having covered only 66k. We have resprayed in in its orginal colour BMC Blaze Red (Orange to the rest of us!).   Originally owned by a local lady. then just before we purchased it a local chap who wanted to do the car up. but chose to sell it to us instead.

This car is a real head turner and a pleasure to own. drive and love. Like any classic mini. it makes you smile. but this one has had so much done to improve it. it makes you smile more!

I have listed as much information as possible below to give you an idea of condition and the level of detail we have gone into putting the car together.

Resprayed in original colour. over the original colour. lovely bright and shiny Blaze Red (Orange!)

Body has been welded. panels replaced as required and the car has no structural rust.

All parts fitted over the last three years are new:

Revolution Alloy Wheels. with new tyres and locking wheel nuts

Stainless Steel Bumpers and Grill

Halogen upgraded Headlights. Wipac Driving lights (wired to main beam). stainless steel rear fog and reverse lights.

Metal Black and silver front and rear number plates

Stainless steel wiper arms with matching wash jets etc.

Chrome door door furniture including hinges

Bullet style door mirrors fitted to both doors

Full carpeted boot liner kit in black matching car interior

New quality carpets set in the cabin

New door cards with front door pockets. plus stainless steel door furniture ( door handles. window winders etc

Minisport high end burr effect dash with opening glove box doors.

Matching burr door caps

Corbeau Classic bucket seats on new subframes with matching rear seat covers

Quality CD player with face off facility fitted into custom consoles centre console.

Rear speakers fitted into carpeted speaker board below rear bench seat

New seat belts with additional belts fitted in the back too

New wood and stainless steel steering wheel matching the dash and door cards

Wooden gear knob

New door seals on both doors and boot door.

New windscreen seal and chrome inserts on back and front screens.

Extended wheel arches.

Engine has had full service

Fitted with Maniflow LCB centre exit manifold going into a maniflow centre exit tail pipe. Maniflow exhausts are exceptional adding power without excessive noise.

Carb upgraded to 1. 5" with appropriate needle for exhaust system

New Coil. points. plugs. distributor cap. rotor arm. HT leads

New windscreen washer bottle with electric pump

New fuse box

New alternator and battery

New radiator and hoses and water pump

New steering rack. track rod ends

New front wheel bearing and CVs

New brake shoes and slave cylinders

This project started on what was essentially a very srong basic car. We have transformed it into a wonderful classic mini.

It has been dry stored in our workshop. The car is being sold with a new MOT (booked in for this w/c 18th March

I have owned lots of classic minis over the years. This was the car I always wanted. No expensise or time has been spared bringing this car to this standard. Yes it still has little imperfections. but they dont come any better than this.
