This MGA in ‘triple black' has been restored over a number of years from an imported 1500 returned from the USA in 2011. I purchased it last year during lockdown as the bodyshop restoring it needed to move it on.

They had completed a body off chassis and body restoration, rebuilt the engine, and purchased many new parts. But not enough parts to complete the restoration as I have since learnt to my cost ! The car has new Hood Side screens Wire wheels Tyres Interior All new switches Bumpers Exterior trim Exhaust

The car is fully turn key and ready to go, I have been using it during the summer. It drives really well with a nice gearbox and excellent oil pressure. The brakes have been serviced and the carburettors rebuild in April this year by a specialist (receipts in file). Even the heater works, with all new cables.

It has been restored to be a nice useable example not a concourse winner and there are certain bits of fettling still to be done, but there are obviously no rust issues. It comes with many spares including a nice set of wire wheels, luggage rack, heater etc (see photos). The interior ‘Deluxe' carpet set has been rough fitted only, to make viewing the car easier (ok, I'm lazy).

Registered as a historic vehicle with the DVLA, so tax and MOT exempt. Comes with The Heritage certificate V 5 C with me as the first registered UK owner File of receipts Spare key
