Original RHD UK market Lotus Europa S 2 (Renault 1470 cc engine). Matching numbers. 65000 miles. 500 miles since complete refurbishment (see below). Has undergone 3 years work to bring it back to road going condition. New parts include: Aluminium fuel tank and sender Aluminium coolant transfer pipes and heater pipes Door hinges Electric window motor Remote oil filter and oil cooler Electric fuel pump Electronic ignition Davies Craig electric water pump Mechanical water pump Swirl pot Alternator Aluminium radiator and puller fan Suspension bushes all round Track rod ends New tyres on 13 inch Ally Cat Rallye Special wheels Starter solenoid Weber carburettor Adjustable Gaz coilovers all round (damping and height) Front discs, pads and replacement callipers Brake lines, master cylinder Rear brake shoes, handbrake mechanism and rear slave cylinders Windscreen washers Clutch Windscreen (Pilkingtons) and rubbers All door rubbers Headlining, carpets, dashboard and seat trim Fuse box and relays in front boot Headlights with H 4 bulbs Rebuilt engine with new bearings, rings, seals, gaskets, timing chain and a replacement cylinder head. Chassis is rust free and has been aluminium then polyurethane coated. Body is wrapped in Gold Leaf colours which really suits the car. There are a few minor nicks in the vinyl, but replacement material is supplied alongside a variety or spares (original carburettor, air filter etc.) Minor issues that don't affect driveability: Gearbox drips oil. It's not much but isn't fully dry. The engine also has a small leak from the cam cover. Drivers' door card can come loose – new clips are included Wiring, fully functional could do with some tidying.
