When we see this car we think of the show "I Dream of Jeannie" and would be the type of car Major Nelson would always drive! We are proud to offer for auction this very clean 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible of which only 11,649 were produced or about 13% of the total Firebird production in 1969. This is just a solid fun driver quality little rag top that gets lots of looks and a unique color combination. Car has been a very fun cruiser since we have owned and very presentable in our opinion. Powered by a 350 CI V8 with Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetor that starts up easily since we have owned. Not sure if this is the original block but appears to feature period correct exhaust manifolds and components.  A 3 speed automatic transmission with 10 bolt rear end shifts nicely and fun cruiser in town and will keep up at highway speeds.  Engine bay is nicely detailed and presentable under the hood. The exterior Blue paint is in good condition and shows well. An original code 87 Windward Blue exterior paint code it works well with trim code 200 Blue vinyl as well as Blue convertible top.  The exterior chrome , trim and glass are in good condition and personally would leave alone and just enjoy. Features rear spoiler on trunk deck lid for a more aggressive appearance. The interior is in good driver condition to match the exterior in Blue vinyl. The front and rear seats are in good condition with a slight tear in seam of drivers rear seat (see picture).  The dash trim, gauges and center console are all in good shape with some slight paint peeling off the kick panels.  Really only options are tilt steering and clock on the interior with speedometer and fuel gauge. The manual convertible top is in good condition and easy to lower and raise.  A picture of the convertible top mechanics is included.  Carpet is in good condition and everything looks like this is a older restoration or partial. All seatbelts are present front and rear and appear in good shape. This Firebird stops nicely with power front disc in the front and drum in the rear and turns easily with power steering. The undercarriage of the car is presentable as well as the trunk area but mirror that this is a driver quality.  We have driven this car about 200 miles and been a pleasure to drive and very reliable while we have owned.  Features a clean AZ title.  All vehicles are sold AS-IS. We do our best to describe the vehicles and condition but no refunds or adjustments will be made. You buy it you own it. If you are a CA resident you will be required to pay the proper sales tax related to your county and registration fees. Certain vehicles may not be eligible for sale in CA or other states due to smog requirements. Please check with your state or local agency before bidding and purchasing. Most of our vehicles are titled in our name in the state of CA. Please check with your local DMV but we are not responsible if your state will not register the vehicle or transfer title. We require a $500 PAYPAL or Credit Card deposit within 24 hours of winning bid or offer acceptance. Full payment must be made within 7 days or car will be released for resale. We prefer bank wire transfer as best method of payment. We accept cash or cashier check but their will be a hold before vehicle will be released till all funds clear. We will normally provide you title within 5-10 days of sale by overnight carrier once full payment is received and cleared. Again, vehicles are sold AS-IS just like at the major auctions with no guaranties or warranties just like when we have to purchase the vehicle from a private party, auction or outside source.
