VW Beetle 1965 Cali Look for sale

I bought the beetle in May of this year as a present for my wife as her first car was a Beetle.
However she doesn't like driving the car as she prefers modern enhancements !!
The car has provenance having appeared in the February 2002 issue of Volks World.
The beetle is very quick and holds its own in modern traffic.
1968 cc engine with Auto Linea case 75 mm forged / balanced crank, 92 mm Mahle barrels and pistons, 40 x 35.5 VW large valve heads.
Camshaft Engle 120,
Bolt up rockers/swivel feet, deep sump, full flow oil system with remote filler.
Twin 40 mm Dellorto carburettor's
Bugpack breather, merged header & turbo muffler,
Kennedy stage 1 clutch, formula vee race car gearbox, Gene Berg shifter.
New alternator and fuel pump
Adjustable front beam.
Fitted with long axels.
CSP front disc brakes.
BRM alloy wheels.
Luke 3 point harnesses fitted for both seats.
Bucket seats fitted.
Aronson style decklid.
Body work is solid inside and out there are no carpets in the car just mats so you can see the great condition the structure of the car is.
Fully serviced in July this year.
4 brand new tyres fitted at the same time.
New wheel bearings fitted to rear.
There is tons of history and receipts for the car all in a folder along with an original copy of the Volks World magazine that the car appeared in.
The car was also debuted at the 1999 Volks World show.
V 5 c is present and in my name, car is registered as a historic vehicle and is tax and MOT exempt.
the paint work on the car is the only thing that lets it down as there are a couple of hardly visible runs on the roof and the decklid.
