1956 Renault Dauphine for sale

This is my very pretty little Dauphine. She is a 1956 model with a whopping 845 cc emgine and a 3 speed gearbox. Fast and furious she is not!! However she is rock solid. No rust to worry about. She has a lovely original patina faded paint job and a few scuffs amd dents here and there (she is 65 years old remember!). These are uber rare cars. Far more interesting than your run of the mill Ford's or VWs of the same year.

Imported from France in Dec 2018. Has only covered 51 k miles with only 2 previous owners on the log book (UK only). Just had a full engine rebuild by the previous owner with new pistons. We have a few receipts to back this up. Previously owned by a classic Renault parts specialist so has been well looked after.

Also recently had a new starter motor and a new battery (still on 6 v). What few electrically powered items there are such as wipers and lights all work well. The tyres are good. The interior is all there but again is 65 years old so a few rips and threadbare in some places have taken the seats out to give them a good clean so will post more pics of the interior when they are back in place. Radio is the only thing missing from the interior.

All in all a great little car. Starts, runs and drives. Full of charm and deserves to have a graceful life being enjoyed by someone who can put a little tlc into her. Unfortunately we have taken on a few too many projects at present to have time to put into getting her back to 100% but would very happily keep her if she doesn't reach a good price.

The floor pans are solid. In all honesty the interior has seen better days and could do with reupholstered however it is over 60 years old!
