Buick 35 Open top Tourer-1928.

Step back to the roaring Twenties, nearly 100 years since the manufacture of this wonderful machine. An open tourer was a car to be seen in and remains that way today. Original RHD, made in USA for New Zealand.

In terms of pre war vehicles this is easy to start, maintain and drive. Hence in a previous life was owned by a professional wedding company here in the U.K. As such was maintained to a high standard. We have a lot of MOTs in the file showing the car was actually used not stuck in a museum.

An electric fuel pump and filter has recently been installed for reliability. Indicators have also been installed with period fittings.

The paintwork is very good. Upon purchase we returned the Buick to original Two tone. We stripped and removed all panels and painted them period Chocolate Brown to co-ordinate with the Cream and match the roof and sidescreens. The large fold down roof and all removable sidescreens are in very good condition. We repainted the spare wheel carrier and re installed it, completing the picture by mounting the brake light and period registration plate. The original wooden wheels are all in excellent shape.

The Tan interior is very good with some very nice period features. The original wooden steering wheel is so of its era. We have lifted the carpets front and rear and using them as a pattern to have new ones made. This will enhance the interior fully. The original fold out windscreen all works perfectly and a period style electric single wiper motor has been installed.

This is a true 1920 s Gatsby style classic car under a 20 k budget. Great for shows, Weddings, Film hire, proms etc. Or to simply enjoy with something different.
