History:

The last owner had this car for 22 years. he purchased it in October 1991 at 45. 00 miles. From April 2000 to February 2011 it was kept in dry storage and un-used. due to an engine problem. During this time a replacement engine was fitted.

Summer 2011 the car was fully re-commissioned by Tim Davies Jaguar Specialists. and as well as the engine the whole car was completely over-hauled mechanically.

Largely designed by Jaguar's legendary aerodynamicist. Malcolm Sayer. it slipped through the air far more efficiently than the E-Type and was a paragon of stability and silence at speed.

what is widely regarded as the finest V 12 engine ever made. it mixed effortless performance with superb refinement and reliability. Rated at 295 bhp and 320 lbft of torque. it was capable of over 150 mph and 0-60 mph in less than eight seconds.

Launched in 1983. the XJ-SC Cabriolet was a versatile design that combined lift-out targa panels with a folding rear hood and is now a much rarer car than the full convertible that succeeded it in 1988.

The car comes with original leather document wallet. original Jaguar service book. many old MOT certificates and sundry documentation held in the comprehensive history file. The last service and MOT carried out March 3 rd 2013 at 77. 75 miles.
