1965 Volvo P 1800 S is a well-cared for example with 95 k miles powered by its factory 1. 8 L inline-four paired to a 4-speed manual. The car was mechanically refreshed in the late 1980 s by the second owner. who bought it in California in 1972 and eventually stored it for ten years. He performed a bottom end overhaul of the engine. rebuilt the transmission. and replaced the clutch. After moving to Pennsylvania the car was then sold to the third owner who had the top end of the engine done. refurbished the cosmetics. and added wire wheels in the mid 90 s before repainting it in 2003. The previous owner replaced the shocks and anti-roll bars. and added 15" Dayton wire wheels to the car after the cosmetic work was complete. The wheels look bright and wear newer Pirelli P 6000 tires with good tread left. Inside. the black upholstery and grey carpeting look clean and the dash has no cracks. The rear bench seat with embossed Volvo emblem appears to be in very nice shape. The original luggage straps still work as they should.
