1964 Dodge Polara Street/Strip Nostalgia Super Stock Drad Race Car for sale
Current customer rating:
I am selling my 64 Dodge Polara drag car to finance another project. It is registered and tagged antique and could be street legal with dot tires and a few minor changes. This car would also be an excellent car to race in the very popular "Nostalgia Super-Stock" class. I have drag raced this car for the past few years on and off. won a few races and decided to finish it off nicer this year so we finished the bodywork. put a nice paint job on it. straightened and polished the trim. had a new black aluminum interior fabed and installed. put it back together and it turned out real nice. Here's what you get:
Solid rust-free body
Beautiful single stage Custom Red paint
Fiberglass hood. deck-lid. front fenders. front and rear bumpers
All original trim in very good condition
New custom black aluminum interior (inner door panels. inner quarter panels & trunk closure)
Full 10-point cage with snout bars
Steel wheel tubs. rear wheel openings streched 2 1/2". inboarded super-stock springs
383 engine with 509 solid isky cam. stage 4 iron heads. single plane intake. 750 holley carb. fenderwell headers
727 trans with reverse manual valve body. Cheetah STS shifter & command center
8 3/4 rearend with 742 case and 456 gears
Weld aluninum wheels. 15 x 5's front and 15 x 10's rear with MT front runners and MT ET Drag slicks rear
We just raced the car Saturday 11/02/2013 at Tulsa Raceway Park in the Mopar World Finals. Got runner-up in sportsman class and made it to the quarter-finals in no-electronics. It made a best pass of 11. 81 113 mph in the 1/4 mile. Not bad for a mild 383 on pump gas that you could use for a grocery getter! I am selling this car turn-key but would consider selling as a Roller (no motor or trans) for about $2500 less. Any questions call George at . Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
