Up for sale is questionably the nicest Sonett IIIs out of the museum in Sweden. We purchased this car on February 14. 2009 with 35. 75 miles. Right now it has 44. 59 miles. Everything about this car is original. original paint. original interior. even the original clutch! This car is one of the last 500 and is painted in the classic Orange color!
SAAB Sonett IIIs only had 2 options and this car has both. the rally lights and a am/fm radio. At some point one of the previous owners mounted an 8 track player under the dash.
This car still retains its original 1. 7L Ford Taunus V4 which develops around 63hp (factory rating). It is a 4 speed on the floor front wheel drive car.
We added a class 1 hitch receiver so we could tow our small camper. wires were pulled though the bumper mounts so no holes were drilled!
Car has 0 rust. From what I have tracked down the car was sold in Pittsburgh and then the owner moved to Florida. Then at some point it came back North. It sat in that man's garage for 20 years then we bought it! I have only had the car in the rain one time. and that was returning from Carlilse Import and Kit Car Nationals.
