This is Magnus. He's one special little Mini. The car was restored from a barn-find around 1995 in Sweden. He was then purchased in 2000 with 36 K miles on it as a clubman. Designed by a General Motors Exterior Design Manager. quite a bit of engineering and thought went into the creation of Magnus. He did the round front conversion in the USA after he'd had the car for about a year. Included is the full article from Mini World Jan 2008. It pretty much explains everything from design & specs to reasoning/justification. I've enjoyed Magnus for the past 3+ yrs (although not nearly as much as I had originally anticipated) but the time has come for him to find a new home. Make no mistake about it. Magnus is a track car first and foremost that can be driven daily. I personally have never taken Magnus to the track or driven him in that capacity. but a picture of the link on You Tube has been included for you to check him out in action.
