1956 Ford F-100 Short Box Pickup. 81637 original miles. Unmolested. Original drive train. We bought this truck in 1969 in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Drove it back to Michigan in 1970. Had the truck painted here in Michigan in 1971 or 72. My dad had the truck undercoated lightly with Ziebart after it was painted. No holes in the truck. just undercoated. It was used only on summer days sparingly. The truck has new brakes. new bed. tires. muffler and tail pipe. water pump. I put a pertronix kit in the distributor. Engine was cleaned and painted in the truck. I put the blanket on the seat because the seat cover is loosing it's luster. Most of the interior is original but when we had the truck painted we had the upper part of the doors painted where one's arm would sit on the window ledge. The truck has only had the one paint job it's whole life and may be one of the only uncut 56 F-100's left. The bracing on the bed was done when we bought it in 1969. I have a rear bumper that was on the truck but it is a home made bumper and it go's with the truck. Also had the gas tank cleaned out and installed a new sending unit. No rust ever on this truck.
