We all know of the ever popular Morris Minor. & the Pick Ups are rare & very sought after. What we have here is even rarer still an Austin Minor. For those who don't know. Austin & Morris where 2 independent motor companies that merged in 1952 to make one of Britains biggest motor companies of the time.
The company after merger made the same almost identical models of many cars.
IE the Austin Mini & Morris Mini. the Morris Minor & this vehicle the Austin Minor where almost identical. Only few subtle differences where distinguishable from the pair.
Using same bodies. chassis & engines.
This Pick Up in rare Austin form is in great condition.
The bodywork is unblemished from rust or scratches having just been treated to a new re-spray.
As you can see from the photos under the bonnet & engine are in excellent order. with the paint finish as good as the body.
The vehicle has done 88. 00 miles approximately. with corresponding MOT's from 2002 at 50274 miles. to todays. showing that there is a good chance (while not guaranteed) that this is genuine mileage.
The rear axle has been uprated to give a slightly higher ratio for a better gearing. making the ride slightly better.
Gearbox is in great shape along with the engine.
