And welcome to my advert for my 1988 Austin mini jet black edition. its on an e registration and has only covered 54. 00 miles. I have owned it for 12 years now and its a part of the family. my kids want me to keep it for them but Im going to be needing the space soon in my garage so it needs to go at some point as its my 5 th car and I cant drive them all. this car was advertised on here 6 months ago and reached £2700 and that was before it was running and it had no interior. so im looking for a bit more now.

The car has been fully rebuilt around 9 years ago and has been garaged ever since. it had a few new panels and a full respray. the roof was painted white to replicate the cooper look aswell as the white striped bonnet. sportspack arches and minilite alloy wheels. there is a lot to list as regards what was done on the rebuild. the car has only been on the road for 3 months so me and my father could iron out any niggles and finish off any little jobs. so before that it hasn't been on the roads for 11 years. the car didn't even need a full overhaul back then but it was a project for my father and I to work on together so no expense has been spared. i will list everything its had below.

only bad point is there is the usual slight oil leak from the selector seal of which I have done twice but because its been sat its gone again.

there are a shed full of spares included if I get the price I want or a deal can be reached. parts include a brand new rover aluminium finish dashboard. a grp bootlid in black. starter motors. alternators and all of my mini spares as this is my last remaining mini and will have no need for the spares once car has gone to its new home

the car was painted 9 years ago so remember its not fresh so there are some tiny little niggles/blemishes which most people that have seen it said they are easy to sort. viewing the car is essential. I must warn you the car is extremely loud and pops and bangs most of the time. the exhaust system is too big for the car really but sounds great.

everybody that's sees this car or has been in it loves it. it was also part of the northwest casual classics car show 2 weeks ago at the ferry tavern in penketh warrington and had a load of offers for the car which was great.
