The 1930 Series 40 cars (Standard Six) were fitted with a 4200 cc engine whilst the Series 50 & 60 (Master Six) had the larger 5430 cc engine producing 99 BHP at 2800 rpm. The most popular car in the Series 60 line was the 5 passenger 4 door Special Sedan. Model 30/61 with it's 132" wheelbase. 12508 were built for domestic sale and a further 49 built for export.

This particular car was delivered new in Chicago in 1930 where it was found in dry storage in the early 1960's. when it came into the possession of its second owner who lived a few miles to the West of Chicago. Apart from a respray in the mid 70's the car remains unrestored and features its original upholstery. rear carpet. silk blinds and other original fittings.

The chassis is in excellent condition and the wooden spoked wheels still retain some of their original black paint and white coach lining. The car was laid up some 20 years before being imported into the UK. The mileage at under 60000 is believed to be original and correct.

The car has undergone a gentle recommissoning. This

has included fitting a set of new 650. 19 Goodrich Silvertown

tyres

& tubes as well as the discreet addition of dual rear side/stop lamps and direction indicators.

The strong and powerful engine runs and pulls well making this a very enjoyable car to drive. The car is UK registered

with a V 5 C and all import taxes

paid which means the car can easily be exported within the EU.
