1984 Jeep CJ for sale
Current customer rating:
FOR SALE: 1984 Jeep CJ-7 with Chevy 350 engine. SM 420 manual 4 speed transmission and a Dana 300 transfer case.
It is also equipped with 33" tires. lift. headers. replacement steel body. Wrangler roll cage. disc brakes up front. Dick Cepek wheels. Hella H 4 headlights and a soft top.
This is a really cool CJ.
It's got plenty of personality (especially the exhaust note) and is a blast to drive.
I've had a lot of fun driving this thing around town.
I purchased this Jeep 6 years ago on ebay as a 2 WD with a 4 speed automatic transmission.
Lord only knows why someone did that to this vehicle but I spent a few years driving it that way until I found a transmission and transfer case.
I had V 3 Jeeps (v 34 x 4. com) perform the installation and can provide a detailed description of what was done.
The rebuilt engine is out of a 1978 Suburban.
The odometer shows 113. 00 miles for whatever that's worth.
The engine has always run well but I have only put 5. 00 miles on it in the six years I've had it.
It's only been off-road a handful of times since I've owned it.
It's starting to get some surface rust as you can see in the pictures but otherwise the body is in good shape.
The paint is starting to flake in a couple of spots on the tailgate and a few on the hood.
Feel free to ask questions.
