My boyhood baby needs a new home.
Last driven in December of 1975 - actual mileage unknown.
Has been in various states of disassemble and assembly since.
Stored in a garage for over 40 years. Incomplete frame off rebuild.
Sold where is - as is - no warrantee. A non-refundable $200. 00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction with the remainder payable within 14 days. Buyer is responsible to arrange for vehicle pick-up and delivery within 30 days of final payment being received.
Most everything you need to complete this project with the exception of a few nuts and bolts. carpets. upholstery and side curtains.
Practically all mechanical components have been refurbished or replaced.
Body needs work.
Some welding required in rear wheel arches and to assemble the rear apron components.
Some patches may need to be redone. Front apron and wings (fenders) are fiberglass.
Rocker panels are fiberglass with correct fore to aft and top to bottom contours.
New metal doglegs and rear wings have some surface rust from storage.
New rear apron. Passenger door has some collision damage. Engine and 4 speed non-overdrive transmission are from a 1958 TR 3.
Engine has been rebuilt - balanced with new cylinders match bored to the pistons. has a performance cam. stored dry since rebuild - rear seal needs to be installed.
Radiator re-cored with pass through for hand crank.
Front and rear bumper components have been re-chromed. New glass in windshield frame. Relatively new convertible top.
Tonneau cover requires repair or replacement Shop manuals included.
