Last time for sale after being fully messed around by 4 people.
1. please do not organise a time for an inspection. tell me how much you want the car and get me to take you for a drive if you have no intensions of buying the vehicle at all. 2. if you give me a deposit. please make sure you have your finance in order and funds ready. 3  Please do not ask me to hold the car unless you are a person of your word and actually go through with what you say. including travelling from another state. please realise where I live.
These people mentioned above. nbsp;you do not realise other prospective buyers have been pushed aside for you wasting my time at my loss.
I would have done a deal with the 2 highest bidders on last auction but was holding the car for a timewaster so I'm sorry to you honest people if you missed out.
I have lowered the buy it now price as I was unsure where the market was at for these vehicles at the moment. talking to people about these cars. nbsp;nice ones like this are between 55k and 65k. and if it did have its original motor and in the same condition 70k to 85k. nbsp;Please I don't need anyone's opinion on that. that is what I have observed over the last couple months leading up to the sale of mine.   
Genuine Lj GTR Torana 1972. in its factory colour Dublin green. restored.
The car has all the tags and chassis numbers match. the car has been verified on many occasions (can send numbers to genuine people).

The original motor is gone and it does have an early 202 with VL prefix. has triple webers. nbsp;roller rockers. very driveable cam (has a good rev range and sounds tuff). has extractors. exhaust. big sump and doesn't blow any smoke or use any oil at all. pulls well and is very efficient. has no dramas at all cruising with the XU1's.
To stop any controversy on the forums. nbsp;I personally pulled the tags off to clean them as they were full of paint and nearly unreadable (have before pics). I polished them and I glued them back on with urethane so they cant be removed again and then put rare spares period style rivets in them.
Gearbox and diff has no whine at all (I know strange for a banjo). clutch is also brand new.
Body fully was restored approximately 2 years ago. no rust anywhere at all and straight as a pin. body has one small blemish on one door. if it wasn't for that paint would be 10 out of 10 but I'm a realist and unfortunately its a 9 out of 10 because of that.
New springs and shocks. Koni shocks and king springs.
Brand new rubbers all round.
New black vinyl interior.
Has original radio but is not connected.
Bumper bars have been re chromed. br>Wiper arms have been restored professionally to factory standard.
Brand new Bathurst replica sprintmaster wheels and new tyres. (its not tubbed and they don't scrub) same as the rims they raced with and legal.
Has a discrete drop tank fitted which is not noticeable but could easily be changed to a Bathurst tank if required. me personally. I like the boot space.
She is on full NSW rego till October (not club rego).
I have the original seat belts and buckles for the front but they need to be restored.
Blinker relay needs to be replaced but all blinkers work.
All headlights tail lights and dash lights work perfect.
Please. I know it should have clear blinkers but I prefer the orange ones.

Please do not contact me and tell me how much you think this car is worth or how much you think you know about torana's or what you think is wrong or right with this car or how much you love them (we all do). I don't want your stories. your criticism or receive photos of your mates GTR that is one of the nicest in Australia to compare to mine (i've had about 10 of them). I have built mine to be driven and it has XU1 power thankyou to the motor. nbsp;it is a genuine GTR with a non factory fitted motor. (sometimes the original motors do break it cant be helped). I am stating right here it doesn't have the original motor so please don't tell me its worth the same money as a Torana S or a 4 door because of this. there would be 10k just in this motor.

I am a full member of club that specialises specifically in these cars and I know what it is.
It is actually a very rare car being BVR on the compliance plate being a Back Vinyl Roof Option. wether you put it back on is up to you. (I prefer it without) but the paint is so nice.
