This is my beautiful 1974 Fiat 124 Sport Spider 1800 convertible with only 15. 33 original miles since new.  

This is one of the most exceptional Fiat 124 Spider models for sale in the country.   I would not imagine there is a better-condition. lower-mileage example available for sale in the USA.  

This car is one-family owned since new.   It was bought new in 1974 by a lady in Jefferson. nbsp;Ohio and passed down to her granddaughter.   The car has always been serviced and kept in great mechanical condition.   The car has been garage-kept literally every day of its existence. and it has not ever seen snow or rain since it has been new.

The granddaughter of the original owner has written a note to be passed on to the new owner. explaining how her grandmother bought the car new in 1974 and it was her prize possession. and how the car was even used to lead the grandmother's funeral procession in 2006.   This car was a treasured family heirloom and it has been treated that way in every respect.

This car has only traveled 15. 00 miles since it was new- I have the recent service history for the car. which shows how well the car was cared for.   Recent service and maintenance work on the car includes: new timing belt and tensioner. new alternator belt. new muffler and exhaust system. coolant exchange. oil changes. new battery. all new brakes. tie rods. new tires. plus reconditioning and repainting of the original steel wheels.

The Fiat 124 Spider is a classic Italian sports car styled by Pininfarina. and the car is noted for being one of the first applications for an all-aluminum DOHC 4-cylinder engine. This in addition to the 5-speed manual transmission and four wheel disc brakes. makes this one of the most advanced cars of its time.  When combined with the gorgeous classic Pininfarina styling it makes this a valuable collectible car.

This particular car is in superb original condition.   The car is unrestored and as close to original as you could hope to find.   The paint and body are clean and look very good.   The car has been repainted once.   This is a quality basecoat/clearcoat paint job. rather than the original single-stage paint that is prone to fading.   I would say this is a good paint job. not a $10. 00 show-quality job.

The interior of the car is all-original and looks excellent.   The wood trim and wood steering wheel look great.  Even the original red carpet/mats look very good for being nearly 40 years old.   All of the gauges work. including the electric clock!  The upholstery is very good. the only flaw is one seam on the driver's seat is split. and it has been taped to protect it from splitting further.

The convertible top is original and in good condition with no damage.   Also included is the convertible top tonneau to protect the top when it is down.

I have the original books and owner's manuals plus a service manual and some spare parts in the trunk.  

The underside of the car is clean and solid and looks excellent- again for 40 years old and unrestored. it looks exceptional.

This car starts. runs and drives outstandingly well.   It is amazing how tight. solid and responsive this car is- which is a testament to the extremely low mileage and good care and maintenance.   The engine starts perfectly and runs smoothly. the clutch is tight and strong. the transmission shifts perfectly through the gears. nbsp;the suspension is tight and responsive. the brakes are good. and overall this car runs and drives exactly how you'd expect a 15. 00 miles car to drive.   Very few 124 Spiders have survived in this condition- this car is outstanding.    

The title is clean and clear. and it shows the mileage as ACTUAL.  

Please keep in mind this is a 40 year old unrestored car. and as such it is not brand new.   Please expect normal issues of wear and tear and signs of use.   However. I am quite confident that this is the nicest-condition unrestored Fiat 124 Spider for sale anywhere.
