I purchased this 1961 volvo in early 2015 from a classic dealer in the netherlands. It had a california title and now has clear tx title. I paid $18. 00 with customs and shipping. The car runs and drives great. I picked it up on the coast in galveston and drove it to san antonio. almost 4 hour drive. It has made a few trips to austin.

Pros No leaks
Great alignment
Good trans and clutch
Converted to b 18 and 4 speed in early 90 s along with restoration. still beautiful interior. Just needs new headliner installed which is included.
Newer tires and full correct spare.
80 amp alternator
Electric fan in front of radiator
All lights and gauges work except odometer and non factory lights installed in back doors
1000 watt amp and kicker door speakers with AUX cord hidden near driver under dash.

starts instantly in the morning. I only use the choke for one block

Cons Burns 1 quart of oil per 100 miles but has over 150 compression on every cylinder.
Slow on takeoff
The wipers move way too fast. 6 v wipers on 12 volt conversion.
Rust behind drivers tailight
Drivers side mirror broken.

3 different worn paint jobs are on different panels of the car. Some laquer some enamel

Rebuild kits that i got when i had a brake light issue that was fixed by adjusting the pedal.
