1963 VW Bus Standard Bus Stock Appaearance.. But Low and Cool! for sale

Early 1963 Standard Bus with a unique look. Stock interior and subtlety and tastefully lowered.
This VW drives absolutely effortlessly. one of the best ones I have ever driven. Previous owner owned for more than 16 years after finding it in a barn and purchasing it from the original owner. Bus sat approx. from 1970 to 1998. Very min. rust. great body and floors to start a restoration on without a bunch of issues. Original and first owner stated the motor was shot and stored it ever since. Previous owner did a total restoration. Origianl interior except for front seats. VW retains originall door panels. floor mats. rear and center seats. mostly all original and in excellent shape.
Original owners manual and literature from new with a perfect original dealers license plate frame and other docs come complete with this VW. This was sold new in my home town of South Bend Indiana at THEWS Volkswagen
Lowered on Wolfgang spindles and 1968 type 3 4. 12 rear swing axle. KYB white shocks. Empi camber compensator with a 67 VW Bus front sway bar. this bus performs flawless.
The engine is a 1776 block. with a new mag case. Berg sump and Berg pulley counter weight crank ported 040 heads with Kardron Carbs. There is a Mazda RX 7 radiator cooler installed along the frame rail which is very discreet and nicely installed
The body is very straight and painted with Du Pont Chroma Premeir single stage paint. Paint and body lines are beautiful with no rust or bondo issues. Underside is perfect and all stock looking in appearance with no "patch up work"
A SUN FZ NOS 1963 Tachometer installed on dash. Berg locker bus shifter. These are all the non stock items in the cab/interior of the bus. looks cool and very subtle!
All new rubber and seals. All popout widow frames where beaded. sanded and powder coated. Painted to match the color of the bus
The wheels are Empi Sprintsters. The fronts are rehooped to 4. 5 inch and the rears were moved in for a better fit with the new tires. tires are Continental 175 65 15's on the frontt. 195 65 15's on the rear
