Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this 1956 Mercury Montclair. The Mercury design is considered one of the best of what was a banner year for every domestic American automaker. The full-size Montclair was Mercury's newest model. This is a very fine example .

Showcasing a Lauderdale Blue and Classic White with a spectacular two tone upholstery on the interior this car has been an iconic car for all Americans in its era. and still is a car that any collector would love to own.

The chrome throughout the car is in outstanding condition. The emblems are in very good condition as well.

The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is located only minutes from our showroom and is the location for many of our photos. Be sure to check out the historic Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas.

The interior has showcased for years the classic blue and white with all original features such as the bench seats and dashboard.

The Mercury is said to be very original. However it has had a repaint of it's original colors and we believe the interior was redone.

The dash is in exceptional condition.

An  aftermarket radio was added to this car to give a bit of modern convenience. but still keeping that nice  classic look. It was hung under the dash so as not to interfere with the original dash.

This extraordinary 56 hardtop is more than just a top quality collector example. right down to details and with very low milage is just a great car to own.

Power and convenience came courtesy of a 312 CI V-8. automatic transmission and power steering and brakes.
The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly.

The owner is not sure if the engine was rebuilt before he purchased it.

The wide whites and fender skirts give this car that classic 50s look.

The undercarriage looks in to be in very good  condition. the floors are solid . and there is just a bit of surface rust on the exhausts.

The floor pans look to be original and are in excellent condition.

You can see that the car has not been restored completely and is very original.
