This 1925 Pierce-Arrow Model 33 Speedster Project has a 70 bhp. 415 cu. in. T-head inline six-cylinder engine. three-speed manual transmission. solid front and semi-floating rear axles with semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension. and four-wheel mechanical brakes. Wheelbase is 138″ and a Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) Full Classic.
The sportiest and most powerful model that one could get from the Pierce-Arrow factory in the late 1920 s was the Model 33.
The result was great performance that made this model especially desirable among enthusiasts of its day consider it a high-end hot rod for American aristocrats.
This 1925 Pierce Arrow Model 33 with New York front from the John “Hawkeye” Hawkinson collection. If you watch Chasing Classic Cars. you will have seen this Pierce Arrow on a recent episode where Wayne goes to the Hawkeye collection. Running and driving (with a stuck clutch) and 70 HP.
