If you're interested here's more info:

Owned by me since Feb 2007. I have covered 40. 00 miles in that time. It's for sale as I've not used it much over the last few months.

Engine:
New cam belt fitted at 148000 miles (April 2013) along with water pump. crank pulley idler pulley & auxiliary belts. Oil change & filter. new spark plugs. air filter and fuel filter fitted at the same time. The engine is good. these engines are renowned for high milage (200k +) without issue.

Turbo hoses – recently fitted Roosesport black silicone hoses. All vacuum hoses replaced with Samco silicone hose.

Recent new main radiator. (Aux radiator ok).

Suspension:
Polybushes in: subframes. rear diff mount. rear wishbones
New heavy duty rubber bushes in front forged wishbones with new lower outer ball joints. Wheel alignment carried out in April 2013 on all 4 wheels after new front bushes & ball joints fitted.
Bilstein damper inserts front & back fitted in 2010 with the front upper strut mounts recently changed again.
In 2010 the subframes & wishbones were shot-blast and painted. with the subframes internally waxoyled.
Bridgestone tyres all round with good tread. Front Potenza RE002. Rear Turanza ER300.

Brakes are standard. but new discs & pads just fitted (August 2013) front & back. Fresh DOT 4 brake fluid bled through the system at the same time.

Interior is standard jaquard quattro cloth in black with carbon fibre trim. There are a couple of small holes in the steering column finisher (around column switches) where previous alarms / stereo controls have been fitted. Fitted with a Sony stereo with bluetooth connectivity & CD/MP3 (on disc) player - standard speakers. It has the electric opening rear windows and pre-set electric tilt/slide glass sunroof. There is no peeling on the gauges (a common issue).

It has a Toad inductive immobiliser (Thatcham approved). The alarm with the remote locking died and I removed it. I have not replaced it. There is a electric window closer module still installed but does not work without a remote alarm to drive it.

This car has been used as a semi-daily runner during my ownership and is not concourse. but looks in good overall condition inside & out. There is no corrosion in the (galvanised) body or subframes.

I have all the history in my ownership. but not too much beforehand. Therefore it does not have a full service history.

Bad points:

The rear diff whines a bit under load. but is otherwise ok. I fitted new bearings in 2010 and at the time the Crown Wheel & pinion looked in good condition. but it still whines. Since it was rebuilt. the diff lock does not disengage by itself. the lever needs to be pulled out by hand. I never got round to fixing it as the diff lock is so rarely used.

The paint work is not original (it's red after all) it had a partial re-spray a few years ago. the bonnet is not the greatest job and the offside front wing has a section of paint lifted approx 40 x 30mm. There is a small patch of superficial corrosion on the off-side front wheel arch where it meets the front bumper (shown in photos). There is a scuff on the bumper behind the rear near-side wheel arch (shown in photos).

The driver's seat has some superficial visible wear on the outer bolster. but the fabric is not worn through (shown in photos).

The throttle pedal foot pad is missing (the plastic hinge broke) but the throttle pedal functions perfectly well without it.

The sunroof frame has some corrosion visible on the inside of the frame when you open the sunroof. Also when closing from slide (rather than tilt) it does sometimes re-open and you have to operate the switch again to close it.

The front under-tray is not fitted (I have one) as the brackets on the front bumper are missing. the bumper has had some damage repaired on it before I bought the car.

The asking price is £3400. 00 ono. but please don't start any offers by asking "what is the minimum price you will accept". I don't barter myself down and I've priced it fairly. I have described it accurately. listing the good & bad points. but of course it is to be sold as seen. No part-exchange offers please.
