These cars were manufactured in England and were available as a completely built up car. Jaguar donor cars have always been used for the mechanical side of it. This example utilizes and is titled as a 1968. The engine is a 6 cylinder 3. 8 litre double-overhead camshaft version with 3 SU Carbs producing 230 hp and coupled to a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. The suspension is all Jaguar and incorporates inboard Disc brakes and fully independent rear suspension. The interior is fitted in Black with Red piping. equipped with TRS racing harness. the dash is done with original Smiths style Jaguar instruments and Jaguar telescopic steering column. Vehicle sits on a beautiful set of 15 inch Aluminum wheels with Pirelli tires. Considerably lighter then an XKE or Jaguar Sedan this Kougar will out corner. out accelerate and stop faster then virtually any Jaguar that was offered to the general public in the 50 s and 60 s. This vehicle is fast and very fun to drive its suspension is well balanced. its brakes are extremely effective and it shifts smoothly as one would expect. This vehicle is truly an auto enthusiasts thrill car. rallies and Sunday cruises alike this car is favored by many collectors and drivers. Believed approximately only 150 were ever built these Kougar Jags are very rare and highly sought after.
