1978 Leyland-Austin Mini 1000 Classic

Re-Listing due to continued interest!!! This time no reserve!

Nice original Leyland Mini automatic 1000 right hand drive. This car runs and drives excellent. Odometer states 22 k and some change which I believe to be original base on some MOT records that I found in the car. plus it runs so good you can not even hear it when it is running. It does not burn any oil or leak either. The automatic transmission shifts very well you can even shift manually if desired. I recently installed a new aluminum radiator along with a tropical fan and the car runs at normal temperatures even in 90 degree heat. Also a new starter was installed about a year ago. The tires are new Falkens with less than 500 miles on them. Brakes work well and the handeling is nice and tight with no shakes and rattles. This has got to be the quietest Brithish car I have ever driven in. The interior is in excellent shape. and also have a new brown rug kit that I have no installed yet because the originals are in pretty good shape. All the electric works properly. The paint is that of a 35 year old car. but it shows fairly well for its age. There doesn't appear to be any rust. but I do notice a couple of small bublles on each door toward the lower forward ends but very minimal. Besides that the car is a great driver in very good shape and runs excellent!!
