Genuine Mini Cooper Reg 1 st Aug 1991 Carburettor model, this was my last year lockdown project, refurbished with body strip refurb to include new door skins and part boot floor repair.. otherwise shell was solid with original sills. Little use since refurb due to lockdown no 2.. selling to fund my next mini kit- car project, but no rush to sell as I have my daily for sale and if it sells I may keep the Cooper. New MOT with no advisories... little use over lockdown only since my previous MOT last year. Body completely stripped and repainted in 2 pack Old English white with black roof, previously silver/black. Original factory fit Webasto tudor skyview pop up tinted sunroof so no leaks.

V 5 in my name. New window seals, hinges, stainless bumpers, wavy grille with quick release nuts. Custom centre speedo and smiths dials dashboard.

Group 2 arches with 6 x 10 dished style minilites. New Cooper S 7.5 inch brake disc and caliper conversion. New front red dot rubber cones and hilos. New starter motor and new high output alternator. Aluminium radiator and new quality spark leads. Refurbished engine with excellent compression plus 20 thou believed to be 1293 cc. running very well, gearbox and clutch as it should be. Original Hif 44 carburettor and air box with K&N filter element. Running standard Cooper exhaust and manifold although I do have an RC 40 exhaust and LCB manifold which I might fit ,.. not had access to my ramp. Original interior in vgc. and clean with no marks

Replaced black carpets.

I also have a lovely set of quilted style bucket seats and runners.. which match the interior lovely but I removed due to problems getting in and out with my dodgy hip... see photos.

All the original Cooper parts included. I will fit a new tinted windscreen as the

original is scratched and during covid supply there was no time to get fitted before MOT last year. Recent oil and filter, new plugs. Taken only to shows and the odd evening zip around the Derbyshire back lanes... runs lovely and suspension wheel combo gives a nice compliant ride. This is the desirable Cooper carburettor model of the two years production 1990/1992 run prior the the injection SPI model. more photos on request.
