Here we have for sale is a rare reliant bond bug. 971. I bought this off eBay about a week ago but I got some bad news yesterday. I got laid off work so unfortunately and sadly I've had to put it back on :( I had every intention of getting this put back on the road and taking it to a few shows. but because if my circumstances now I have to sell :( right. the previous keeper owned this for 25 yrs. I have the old and new v5. it has been stored off road since 1992. the previous owner was a bug enthusiast and looked after it very well. it has a upgraded engine which is now a 750cc. it has the original rocker cover which has 'bond' embossed on it. this little bug does need some welding. the chassis has also been upgraded with a 16/th steel plate on it. he chassis is in very good cond. the bug starts on the key and runs well and is driveable yes driveable! The engine oil has been changed within the last month. im no expert but I don't think it's gonna take a lot to get through mot. it doesn't have no mot or tax. the bad bits is. it will need a resprayed at some point. s the paint has come off in places which I have tried to show how much in the pics. there is lots of handbooks with it. lso some trophy s from being in a show. nd also a bond bug jumper!!!! :) any viewings welcome but PLEASE serious bidders only. i do have.
