MERCEDES E220 CONVERTIBLE CABRIOLET for sale

Lovely classic 4/5 seater Mercedes convertible in gleaming metalic burgundy. The bodywork on this car is amazing for almost 20 years old. with no obvious rust. dents. scratches or fading.
Tan leather interior with heated seats is also in pretty good condition.
The car has subtle updates like a very striking (and pricey) private plate. slightly larger more modern mercedes alloys. a stainless silencer. i Pod-ready Kenwood CD and AMG style grille.
Starts and runs beautifully and just wafts along nicely on mercedes' bulletproof and economical 220 engine and auto box.
The hood fabric was replaced some years ago and has a couple of the usual scuffs but not bad.
Comes with service book and both remote control flip keys.
Low mileage at an average of 6 k miles a year with service history to match up to 70 k and MOTs
WIth some pretty advanced things for it's day like remote central locking. mirrors. heated seats. airbags etc it is an appreciating classic that is perfectly useable as a family car in the week but when the sun comes out. you can waft along like a rockstar in one of the longest proper convertibles this side of a '59 caddy.
I've just got too many cars and it is gathering cobwebs.
So certainly no swaps or px (unless for a very large boat!)
I'd really prefer to sell to someone who comes and sees/drives her and is satisfied so if you're interested then please come and have a look.
