If you're the lucky winner of our auction. we will email you immediately to congratulate you and give you our number. 216-990-3880 (Lou). Most of our auctions end between 7 PM and 10 PM. We would like a call from the winner within 12 hours of auction ending so we know that they are a real buyer. If not. we will offer it to the 2nd highest bidder. This is a no-reserve auction. which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner. so your bid means something.
We encourage all bidders to stop out. personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can't personally make it out to check out this vehicle. simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. Ebay also offers a service like this! Please do this BEFORE bidding on the vehicle!
This is an as-is vehicle. which means that once you buy it. you own it with all faults (known or unknown). With the purchase of this vehicle. the buyer will pay for all repairs. We sell all cars as-is. which means you will pay all costs for any repairs. The dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
If you need a 30-day tag. it's $18. 50. We handle the transfer of the title. We will also have to collect the tax for your county if you live in one of the following states: Arizona. California. Florida. Indiana. Massachusetts. Michigan. Ohio. and South Carolina.
We would like the vehicle picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. along with a $15 title fee. By Ohio law. we must transfer this title into your name. The reason being is that if we would just send you the title and it was to get lost. there would be a problem. Or if we would send you the title and you didn't transfer it for several years and it got lost. it would be an even bigger problem. We follow the law of our state and will make sure that the title is transferred correctly for all customers. We will not pay any shipping fees. but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle. If you have any questions. call Lou at 216-990-3880. Good luck bidding!
Thank you for looking at our clean 1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville Convertible. We purchased this car about a year ago from a gentleman who owned it for 15 years. It came from a collector who had a garage full of cars and this is one that was sold from his collection after he passed. He probably had the car for about 20 years. and before that it was very well taken care of by the original owner. The 78. 00 miles are actual. and the title is clean (as seen in the pictures). When we purchased this car. it ran absolutely like new. as it still does. The inside is all original leather. which we did not touch.
The body of the car was not rusty. but the paint in certain areas of the car was cracking and chipping. So we decided that if we sold it the way it was. the paint would look too good. and we didn't want to misrepresent what we were selling. So we had the total outside of the body restored over the winter. They took off the bumpers. all chrome. door handles. and stripped the car down to bare metal and repainted it the factory color. and now the car looks absolutely stunning and beautiful. Once we got the car back we had it detailed. and now we're offering it for sale.
This was not a cheap paint job. It cost close to $7. 00. Only reason being that we wanted the paint stripped down to the metal so that this paint issue would never happen again. The AC and heat work. all the windows and the top works. The spare tire is brand new and was never used. and you can get in this car and drive it any place in the country you want to go to. any day of the week. Underneath the car is all solid. it's just flaking a little bit because the car is close to being 50 years old. The chrome bumpers are original and they still look absolutely beautiful. This car also has tilt and telescopic wheel. climate control. and power locks.
The trunk. as you can see in the pictures. is 100% solid. with no bondo. no sheet metal. just the original way it was built back in 1970. The top on the car was replaced 3 years ago. That's one of the reasons that the car shows so well. because that part of the car is not original. But it's the exact same color that the original top was. The tires. brakes and front end are all in good shape. The engine run smoothly. We also have the original parade boot that comes with the car. This is a rare find. because most of these cars that look as nice as this one does. have been totally restored. This car is original. with just a few updates to keep it looking and running as nice as it does. We believe it to be an all matching numbers. and exactly the type of car that. when put in a collection. will only increase in value in the years to come. If taken care of properly. it should look no different today than it will 25 years from now.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
