Current customer rating:
RELISTED DUE TO TIMEWASTER.
Reluctant sale of my lovely JBA Falcon Plus 2. Finished in Black and Silver paint in a popular and classy two-tone design with a red and grey interior. Tax to 28 th Feb 2014 and MOT to 18 th March 2014. Cheap to insure - 12 months fully comprehensive insurance currently costs me £210
Someone will get a real bargain as personal circumstances force sale - it could easily be purchased and resold for a quick profit. but I hope it will be purchased by someone who will love and use it as we have. Advertised locally. so auction may be closed if sold before end.
The “Plus 2” model has 2 seats plus a small rear bench seat suitable for luggage or two very small people. It also has a good-sized lockable boot.
Technical stuff: Ford Pinto engine 2100 cc. Ford five speed gearbox.
The Ford Pinto engine was modified and tuned by Aldon Automotive:
Cylinder block bored to 2100 cc. cylinder head to stage III specification. lightened flywheel. Weber 32/36 DVAG carb and a Piper 255 camshaft.
This coupled to a 5-speed Ford gearbox

The car was completed and first registered in 1991 and has been in regular use ever since. I purchased it from the original builder's son around twelve years ago and have used it as my daily transport for my short commute and occasional outings. When the children were small the whole family of four would travel in it.
My philosophy towards the car is that it is there to be used and enjoyed and it has the (cosmetic) scars to prove it.
Note: The first four photos were taken in July 2013. See
google. com/site/jbakitcar/ for more photos and lots more information about the car.
Inspections welcome and viewing. by serious buyers. is encouraged
The car is listed with a low reserve price. well under market value and well under insured value. as change in circumstance forces sale.

Correction to typing error. The date in the sentence "The car was completed and first registered in 1999 and has been in regular use ever since. " should. of course. read "The car was completed and first registered in 1991. " as correctly stated elsewhere in the advert.
Also. in answer to a question about registration. the car is correctly registered as a JBA Falcon on the V 5 C certificate (log book)

I have not been able to respond to all the questions individually. but I will post additional photos tomorrow morning including the interior and close ups of wear and tear. Although the whole-car photos are straight-forward photos taken recently. it was very sunny and I think it makes the paint look better than it is in places.

"hi there. falcon looks and sounds great. I like the fact it is being used daily and not stashed away!! have you any interior pics please? and just to confirm is it based on a sierra donor? cheers. "

Good question. The car is based on a Ford Cortina not a Sierra. (Mostly all that remains of the Cortina is the suspension). Pictures of the interior have now been added.
