Re-creation of a rare one of a kind Ferrari-Maserati racer. Hand crafted steel body from a 1959 MGA.  Copied from an authentic rare mid 1950's-60's Ferrari-Maserati racer. Blended with a 1966 vintage corvette 327 motor and 3 speed manual transmission. Aluminum radiator. Hand made parts; hood scoop. steering rod joints. master cylinder mounts and rod. alternator brackets. motor and transmission mounts. radiator over flow container. floor frame rails. and the floors. 1959 VW gas tank. Removable safety bars; steering bar. rear gas tank. driver/passenger side doors. Hood and trunk are aluminum. 1968 MGB front end. disc brakes and rear end was used to better handle the V8 and manual trans. This racer is low enough to jump right in. Vintage parts were used in the making. Motor and trans ran fine when they came out of previous car. New parts include; timing chain. gears. timing cover gaskets. pan/water pump gaskets. exhaust gaskets. rear shocks. steering joints. seats. fuel lines & hoses. oil filter. plugs. plug wires radiator hoses and harmonic balancer. Parts needing to be finished include; wiring the car. brake lines. electric fuel pump. coil. electric fans. rebuilding carburetor. needs new tires and battery. Vehicle offered here is a rare hand crafted recreation. It started life as a 1959 MGA body. 1959 MGA title. Frame is reinforced. A vintage 1966 corvette motor. A complete steel body fine-tuned with fiber glass with an exception for the doors. hood and trunk (all aluminum). Hand crafted hood and trunk Ferrari locks as well as duel side pipes. Rails along the doors and front dash and back are for upholstery. It will not take much to finish this rare racer. It will be valued much higher and a joy to drive and show.
