World Class Motorcars of St Louis MO is offering a very rare and desirable vintage Ferarri Convertible.

This is a 1988 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet.

This car has been owned by the same person for 20 years here in St Louis.

For the last several years the car has just been stored.

The car is finished in Rosso Corsa Red and has beige Connolly leather interior.

The vehicle is powered by a 3. 2 L 32 valve V 8 engine mated to a five speed manual transmission.

The car has Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel Injection. Limited Slip Differential. Anti Lock brakes and power windows and locks.

According to the original window sticker (pictured) the car listed for almost $85000.

if you always wanted to own a classic Ferrari but wernt able to shell out the big dollars this may be your chance.

VEHICLE CONDITION

This car is in good but not great condition.

I will tell you what we know from visual inspection of the car and notes from the previous owner.

We are selling this car as is and any information given is as a courtsey only.

We are not gauranteeing anything.

First the body.

The paint and sheet metal appear to be all original.

I do know the car was stored inside and covered by the last owner.

The paint is in what I would describe in very good condition.

There are few rock chips on the front end. especially on the grill in the hood.

The convertible top has a tear in in and would need to be repaired or replaced. Only one latch on the top works. the other is broken.

The tires are about 50% and are older. Replacement would be required to drive this car on a regualar basis.

The wheels have several scuffs(pictured).

The interior is all intact.

There are no rips or tears in the seats or dash and everything is complete. Mechanically the engine starts right up. does not smoke and runs smooth.

I have service records from a major service performed at 48895 miles in 1997.

Total cost of almost $7000 in 1997 dollars.

This included a complete removal of the engine and service the entire motor.

This was done at Continential Auto Sports. an authorized Ferrari Dealer still in business today in Chicago.

I was also told by the owner that shortly after that service while on a trip the clutch was replaced. I was not able to track down where.

We have driven this car approximately 40 miles and the engine. tranmission and driveline/suspension perform as they should.

Three of the four windows opperate.

The wiper switch appears to be broken. the radio does not work and the A/C is inop.
