1965 Shelby Cobra Replica This re-creation Cobra was manufactured by Premier Motor Sports and titled as a 1965 Ford Shelby. There are a number of things that make this car very special. First of all the frame on this car is a 4" round tube chassis and is very stout being based on the original. It has Kirkham billet aluminum independent front suspension and fully adjustable Aldan American coil over Shocks all the way around.

Second. the body is very close to the original look and is very high quality with an excellent fit and finish. This car has won several awards. The paint is unique in that it is based on an original scheme (CSX 3113 only one). The engine is a 1964 427 which would have been the original engine and year in a real cobra(550 hp. 650 ft lbs). It has a Ford 4 spd Toploader Transmission By David Kees. The rear end is a HD modified Ford 9 in. independent rear suspension much like the original only stronger. It also has Wilwood Brakes and the original style 6 pin knockoffs. The wheels are also Vintage Halibrand style 427 pin drives with Goodyear blue dot billboard tires. The Frame. Side pipes and roll bar are all powder coated. This is a great upgrade and will not rust or change colors. Very accurate looking Cobra re-creation.
