For sale is a #94 green 1967 Volvo P 1800 S. This car has the same B 18 engine that has set the world record for the most miles and is still going at 3. 00. 00.

This car has the original B 18 engine with dual SU carbs. puts out about 1800 cc of displacement to produce 115 hp. I purchased this car last year with the majority of the car redone.

The previous owner acquired it 4 years ago for a guy who got it from california. At that time it was painted white so he stripped it to bare metal and said there was absolutely no rust.

I don't see any signs either but I didn't see it stripped. He then had it repainted in a two stage paint to the original #94 green color. It truly is gorgeous. He also replaced 6 strips of chrome
on the sides and treated the floor to dynamat sound proofing and a new carpet kit. It has 4 new bilstein shocks. new upper and lower ball joints. new brakes which includes the master cyclinder and front calipers.
The details i just listed are pretty much verbatim from the previous owner and he is the Volvo Sport Car of America NY Chapter Coordinator so he knew his P 1800 s and was reputable.
Please be aware this was not a complete ground up restoration so not everything is perfect. It is a gorgeous car but is still 45 years old and is not a show winner.
Anyway. in addition to his work I added a couple finishing touches to bring it back to it's originality. I changed and added details such as redyed interior. a working sounds system. a detailed engine. and an original looking trunk. I encourage you to see it in person!

The car was repainted to the original #94 green color and the paint job is gorgeous! It was a 2 step base coat and lacquer finish

Original leather seats. The previous owner painted the interior but it was places it was cracking.

I took the seats out. stripped off the paint. treated the leather with Color Plus Soffener which moisturizes the leather into better shape and then dyed it using Color Plus's Surflex.

The back seat was also restuffed to match the original amount of cushioning

The instrument panel and dash looks great. Most of the gages work but the clock. as usual for these P 1800 s. The panel lights all illuminmate. The odometer shows around 26. 00 but I cannot guarantee this is correct.

The windshield wipers work. lights. turn signals. fan for heat and defrost all work. The overdrive also works with the flip of the stick on the right side of the steering column.

The steering wheel is not the original but an upgraded wooden wheel which I like better than the silly vinyl wheel and horn.

The choke works well and is needed until the car is warmed up. As you can see a thorough paint job as they removed everything to get into small areas such as the door jams.

The headliner is in fantastic shape and the sun visors were redone.

The radio is a newer radio which the previous owner installed. I added new Alpine speakers with original Volvo speaker covers from the 1960 s.

They aren't original to the 1800 but the are of the same period.

The engine has been very well detailed

The chrome is probably the weakest part of this car as it was not redone. It still looks good from far but has blemishes when close up

Trunk made to original condition with correct mat. side and back cardboard covers and correct spare tire and jack. which is even painted to the original gray color.

I don't have the mounts for the jack crank or the spare tire strap but the rest is original.

Brakes were redone including a new master cylinder and brake lines.

New VTO wheels (in new Goodyear Eagle GTs) which really make the car stand out. I have the original wheels as well if you want. SUMMARY OF VEHICLE CONDITION
